CBM Build Site Below is a note from CBM missionary church planters Ed and Cheryl Bunt. Dear Friends, The roof is on! We had a wonderful week with some of our CBM builders and some volunteers. We personally enjoyed spending time with these friends. They were so encouraging and fun! With campers in the park downtown, builders going to the hardware store, and neighbors spreading the word, the project at Calvary created curiosity and big news in Chatsworth. Along with that came opportunities and contacts. One man came to watch a couple of days while a man from across the street worked on the roof along with the crew for 2 afternoons. Someone donated some roofing supplies. A neighbor came with a cake to help feed everyone, a former member brought 2 meals, and an elderly Catholic lady brought brownies. Men Needed

Men’s Missions Trip to CBM Build Site I am looking for up to 12 men that want to join me and swing a hammer for a week at a CBM build site. Location: Gulf Coast Baptist Church in Cantonment, Florida Distance from Iowa City: ~950 miles. When: September 28th – October 5th The exact time we leave and arrive back to Iowa City will depend on who signs up.  Cost: ~$200-300 What we will do:  probably trusses. Rebekah – “My God is so Great”

I was looking forward to taking a nap in the van while Brenda was driving home. Little did I know that God would use Rebekah to encourage me. Rebekah sang these words over and over for an hour straight: My God is so great, so strong and so mighty, there’s nothing my God cannot do for you! I never did take that nap, instead, I listened to Rebekah and meditated on those words.

2013 Truth Tracker Grand Prix

In the Krueger house, we generally design the cars for speed. And this year was no different. Time was not on our side, so we did the basics. We didn’t bake the wood to remove 10% water weight. We didn’t polish the axels or sand the wheels. But we did put optimize the weight by putting 3 ounces of weight in the back of the car. All the cars were set to run on 3 wheels, then we spun the wheels while adding graphite. There are so many little tips and tricks to optimize the car for speed. I also had the opportunity to help with 4 other cars. The biggest highlight was helping our 4-year-old neighbor build his first car. Our neighbor took 2nd in his division.
