While attending Baptist Bible Church in Sparta Michigan we have been challenged to be intentional in reaching out and building redemptive relationships. One of the tools that we have been using is the book, “Foundations: Bible Truths for Christian Growth”. Our family has endeavored to take on this challenge! Amanda has been meeting with a classmate, Ven, and going through this book. A couple weeks ago they did the study on eternal security and Amanda challenged Ven that she could be 100% sure of her salvation. A week later when they were again meeting, Ven told Amanda that she was now 100% sure of where she was going when she died! Praise the Lord, for His work in Ven’s life!
As a CBM builder, Brian was able to connect with one of the delivery guys and start a Bible Study going through the Foundations book. We met once and have struggled to align our schedules to meet again. Pray that we can continue to meet with them. We praise God for the opportunities He is providing!
The building project is moving along well. Drywall is hung and we are in the process of mudding and building cabinets. There is still a lot that needs to be accomplished, but we also need to start preparing for the next project. We will be moving to Valley Baptist Church in Eureka, MT, 1,800 miles away. A lot of decisions and tasks need to be finalized including: Luke’s graduation, Nathanael’s summer plans (will he work at camp in Michigan and fly out to Eureka?), what to bring, and 5th wheel maintenance (new tires, furnace repair, and damage from the tire blow out). The list can seem overwhelming, and yet we are encouraged to see how God is preparing our way! We just ordered a tool trailer that will hold & transport a scissor lift as well as tools, and other storage. Praise the Lord, that is paid for! Although God has directed people to give $3,750 towards the scissor lift, we still need about $10,000 before we can order one. We are trusting God’s timing.
We are also praising God that our support is at 84%! Three churches and an individual have increased our support and we have a new individual supporter. We are reminded that we cannot do this ministry without your prayer and financial support! Thank you!!
