“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. Matthew 6:19-20 (NKJV)

We organized a weekend “tent” garage sale. Some members of our church family helped us organize and price our items. We then set up our professional made signs and people came. It went so well that we decided to leave everything set up in the tent and our single weekend garage sale turned into 3 weekends. It was a very good step towards our downsizing process and it was a great reminder to us that we need to lay up our treasures in heaven rather than on earth.

The kids were a big help in planting our garden this year. They are now eagerly waiting for the harvest. We traveled through several significant hail and thunderstorms and through it all the vehicles sustained minimal damage and we were in safe places when we needed to be. God is good! The picture shows a hailstone next to an Easter egg from a storm while we were in Wayland, IA.

This month we were blessed by our time spent sharing the ministry at the Independent Bible Church in Wayland, IA, Blair Ridge Baptist Church in Cedar Rapids, IA and First Baptist Church in Farmington, IA. We are thankful for the way God has blessed our deputation and the many friendships we have made. We also celebrated Brenda’s birthday with the traditional ice cream cake.

We can’t say it enough. Thank You! Your prayers are being answered! We have another individual financially partnering with us. Praise God, we now have crossed the 10% threshold!

Fulfilling the great commission together,

Brian, Brenda, Amanda, Luke, Nathanael and Rebekah Krueger
