The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. Psalm 23: 1-3 (NKJV)

This month we of visited the farm of one of our church families. They had 2-day old lambs that the children enjoyed holding and petting. As we were going to celebrate Easter it was a great reminder of the new life we are given in Christ. We were also reminded of how much we, as God’s lambs, need a Shepherd to guide us as we grow in Him. The children enjoyed playing with rabbits and seeing incubated eggs getting ready to hatch.

We continued our annual tradition of going to the circus with friends and family. The kids rode an elephant and we enjoyed the many other acts. Easter was spent at our home church where we listened instead of participating (that was a change!). Afterward, we shared a picnic with friends and family on a beautiful spring day.

At the end of April, we traveled to First Baptist Church in Brownsdale, MN, Good News Baptist Church in Sioux City, IA, and Mark Baptist Church in Bloomfield, IA. Each of these churches was a blessing to us as we shared our ministry and fellowship with God’s family.

We are planning a “tent” garage sale for the second weekend of May. Please pray that it would be a profitable time of downsizing and that God would provide opportunities with our neighbors and others He will bring. Thank you for your continued prayers and encouragement. We are praising God for three new individual supporters in the month of April.

Fulfilling the great commission together,
