“Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem! Praise your God, O Zion! He sends out His command to the earth; His word runs very swiftly. He gives snow like wool; He scatters the frost like ashes; He casts out His hail like morsels; Who can stand before His cold? He sends out His word and melts them; He causes His wind to blow, and the waters flow.” Psalm 147:12, 15-18 (NKJV)

We were reminded this month of God’s sovereignty and control even in the weather. We left a day earlier than planned to present at Missionary Baptist Church in Carlisle, IA knowing a major storm was coming. We had no idea if they would even have a service or when we would travel back home. God blessed us and the church had all their services and then He provided housing Sunday night so we could avoid traveling in the storm. The family we stayed with was not intending to be home, but because of the weather, their flight was canceled. The kids adapted and enjoyed playing with the house cat, Miles. It was amazing for both of our families to reflect on God’s plan and how much bigger it is than ours.

This month, we shared our ministry at First Baptist Church in New Hartford, IA and Brian presented at a men’s prayer breakfast at Cedar Heights Baptist Church in Cedar Falls, IA. We are praising God for four months in a row of increased support. This month He provided increased support from an individual and another new supporter. We are also praising God as our schedule for 2014 is almost full. Thank you for your encouragement and prayers!

Fulfilling the great commission together,
