“And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.” Philippians 4:19-20 (NKJV)
God has provided for our needs in very personal ways this month. As we considered heating our house this winter, we realized we probably would not have time to heat our house the way we have in the past with firewood. We are not home on weekends to cut, haul and split it. But God had different plans. A major storm brought down trees and men from our church helped move it. Then our neighbor had a tree cut down and placed more wood on our driveway. When we came back from a state fellowship, someone had split and stacked firewood in our absence. Praise the Lord, we have so much wood we’ve had to kill grass just to store the abundance God provided. We can see Him teaching us to ask and then wait for His provision. Another example has to do with school supplies. Brenda purchased what we needed and the next church we went to had a missionary closet with many of the same school supplies. Over and over God is showing us that He will provide for our needs. In the month of August, Brenda participated in her third sprint triathlon. Just like Amanda did last month, she crossed the finish line with a smile on her face and is ready to do it again next year. Brian attended the Iowa Men’s Retreat at Iowa Regular Baptist Camp in Clear Lake, IA. It was an enjoyable two days of fellowship with the men from our church as well as other churches across Iowa. This month as we celebrated our 17th anniversary, we praised God for our marriage and the work He has done and is doing in each of our lives. We also prepared for our annual family Boundary Waters trip. The kids especially like preparing and trying on their packs.
This month we ministered at Calvary Baptist Church in Belmond, IA, Germantown Hills Baptist Church in Metamora, IL, Temple Baptist Church in Charles City, IA and Faith Baptist Church in Albert Lea, MN. With each church we visit, we stand amazed at God’s provision, anticipating new and different opportunities as God goes before us.
Thank you for your continued prayers and encouragement. We are happy to announce we have another church partnering with us. Your prayers are being answered. Please continue to pray with us that our support would come in His timing.
Fulfilling the great commission together,
Brian, Brenda, Amanda, Luke, Nathanael, and Rebekah Krueger
