“Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds?” Luke 12:24 (NKJV)
We continue to stand in awe of the many ways God provides for our needs. We participated in our first Round Robin Mission’s Conference in March. We presented our ministry in five churches in four days. We left for southwestern Minnesota with a full van. God provided beautiful weather and we could have left the winter jackets at home! We were also blessed by an afternoon spent with another Continental Baptist Mission’s missionary family mid-week. These 5 churches loved us and provided for us in more ways than we can count. They played with our kids, made delicious food and even blessed us with many special gifts. We headed home with a van overflowing and hearts extremely encouraged! After the conference, God provided rest and rejuvenation while spending time with some of our college friends near Sheldon, Iowa. Once we were home we started working on our 2015 taxes. Brian’s parents came to visit and offered to take the kids for the week. It worked out great because everyone’s schedule was open. The kids enjoyed a week with grandparents and God provided for our needs as we spent every night preparing taxes.
Brian celebrated his birthday by attending an Iowa Regular Baptist Camp banquet where friends brought him a German chocolate cupcake to celebrate. He also helped the electrician put in an outlet for the projector at church because the heavy duty extension cord running from the sound booth wasn’t up to code. At the end of the month, we were reminded once again that Jesus Christ is God’s greatest provision. We enjoyed worshiping with our local church on Easter Sunday. We are also praising the Lord for a new individual supporter this month!
Fulfilling the great commission together,
