“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. Phil. 4:8 (NKJV)
Every year our church puts on a ladies retreat. This year Brenda was asked to speak for one of the sessions. The theme was, “Think on These Things” from Philippians 4:8. Brenda spoke for the final session and taught ~60 women how to apply principles of biblical thinking to real-life scenarios. As she was preparing, God gave her many opportunities to apply the verses in her own life. It was a challenging opportunity and a big step outside of her comfort zone, but she is praising God for a great experience and the ability to teach.
We are very thankful for new churches where God is allowing us to present our ministry. Trying something new this month, we sent out 20 information packets including two videos: a family ministry video and a ?time lapse of the current build site. Of those, we scheduled eight meetings and have several good leads. God has also provided two new individual supporters! He is so good to us!
Brian and Luke spent a Saturday at Iowa Regular Baptist Camp in Ventura, Iowa helping build a new cabin, Jus?ficati?on, with others from our church. We are thankful for how the men of our church took ?me to include Luke. He used a staple gun on the flooring and applied polyurethane to the indoor siding. Brian worked on mudding one of the upstairs bathrooms.
As parents, the biggest highlight of the month was witnessing Nathanael’s baptism. What a blessing! We praise God for what He is doing in Nathanael’s life. Thank you for encouraging and praying for our kids.
Fulfilling the great commission together,
Brian, Brenda, Amanda, Luke, Nathanael, and Rebekah
