Great is Thy faithfulness!
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see;
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided:
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!”

Two weeks ago, the builders sang this hymn for special music. The line, “All I have needed Thy hand hath provided:” really struck a chord with us. As we reflect on the first large building we have helped build from the start, we are in awe of how God has provided. It took the church 2 years to find the right land to purchase. Today they have an attractive and functional place to worship God.

When we started looking at the expenses for our trip to Montana, they quickly added up. We needed skirting, new tires, and repairs for the fifth wheel, a fifth wheel receiver for the truck, and we had some mechanical issues with the truck and van. The expenses were close to $10,000. While we were singing, the truth of that hymn put us at ease. Within eight days, God’s people gave generously to cover our immediate needs, Praise the Lord!

This week, Baptist Bible Church in Sparta received their full occupancy permit! We are excited for them, but sad because that means we are moving on. We shed tears of joy and are very thankful for the six years God has allowed us to be a part of the family at this church. God has been good and extremely faithful to us! As we were finishing up the building process, we had the opportunity to host Chad Filipiak from AdvanceTechSystems.org, while he helped with the installation of the audio/visual in the building. If your church ever needs help in this area, we highly recommend him.

On the morning of Saturday, September 21, we will start our trip to Eureka, MT. Please pray for safety and an uneventful trip. The trip is more stressful than we want to admit, and Brian has already added a bit of character to our tool trailer by taking a turn to sharp and nicking a guard rail. We have a lot to learn and appreciate your prayers!
