”But now ask the beasts, and they will teach you; And the birds of the air, and they will tell you; Or speak to the earth, and it will teach you; And the fish of the sea will explain to you. Who among all these does not know that the hand of the LORD has done this, In whose hand is the life of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind?” Job 12:7-9 (NKJV)

This month, we continued to have mouse issues, but not in our house. We went on a family vacation to the Boundary Waters in Northern Minnesota. As the sun was setting and we were relaxing at our campsite, we saw shadows moving across the ground. There were mice everywhere! This is not what we wanted to see. We did not ask the mice to teach us, but they made their presence known. It was still a relaxing, refresh- ing trip and an adventure in God’s creation! We spent the week fishing, exploring and spending time together. Before we entered Boundary Waters, we were treated with a trip to the Hull Rust Mahoning mine in Hib- bing, MN. It is a large open taconite mine. The kids enjoyed seeing the miners at work as well as exploring a display truck and tires. The trucks looked so small from the viewing center! We attended the Minnesota Regular Baptist State Conference after our trip. As always the fellowship was sweet. As missionaries, we had an opportunity to share and participate in special music. It was a blessing to see how God is working in the lives of so many different missionaries and how He has uniquely gifted us for the ministry He has called us to.
