”To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:” Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NKJV)

In Ecclesiastes 3 we read that there is a season for all things. We praise God that He has blessed our deputation schedule and it became obvious that we needed to step down as youth leaders. God gave us a passion to serve with the youth and we have faithfully served close to 12 years. Yet we know that God is directing us to a new season. We praise God that he has replaced us with mature believers that have that same passion.

On August 17, we helped our church with their annual International Give Away. Approximately two hundred international students came to the church, sat through a short gospel presentation, and then picked out one or more pieces of large furniture and some household items. We then delivered the furniture to their homes. Brian was also able to attend the state men’s retreat at Clear Lake, Iowa August 23-24.

On August 26, we headed north on our family vacation. We enjoyed 6 days in the Boundary Waters of Northern Minnesota with Brian’s parents and Joshua Genung. Joshua is a son of one of the CBM church builder missionaries. We caught plenty of fish and enjoyed the great outdoors. We also shared the ministry and had sweet fellowship with Burton Avenue Baptist Church in Waterloo, IA and Crosstown Baptist Church in Silvis, IL.

Fulfilling the great commission together,

Brian, Brenda, Amanda, Luke, Nathanael, and Rebekah Krueger
