“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” Ephesians 6:10-11 (NKJV)

In VBS this year we learned about the armor of God. It was a much-needed lesson about the necessity of spending time in God’s Word o that you can resist the “wiles of the devil.” July 15-19, Amanda, Luke and Nathanael spent the week with about 120 other children in VBS. Nathanael made a different part of the armor each day in the Pre-primary class (see the picture with the complete suit of armor). Brenda helped in his class, which averaged about 40 students every day.

On Tuesday and Wednesday that same week Brenda and I attended our first CBM Family conference. A friend from church watched all four kids while we went to Ankeny for 2 days of the conference. This was an amazing time of meeting church planters and builders from locations all over North America. This year’s theme centered around the lives of CBM missionary kids. It was a great blessing to see how God has worked so mightily in their lives over the years. This month we also enjoyed time with family celebrating Amanda’s 9th birthday.

The teen Boundary Waters trip was a success. They met the exploration goal of finding Yodeler Lake and viewing a very large beaver dam. It was a great time in the wilderness and we arrived safely back at home. Thank you for your prayers. We are settling into the routine of traveling to churches to present our ministry. We enjoyed our time at Monticello Baptist Church in Monticello, Iowa and Calvary Baptist Church in Grinnell, IA.

Fulfilling the great commission together,

Brian, Brenda, Amanda, Luke, Nathanael and Rebekah Krueger
