Isaiah 9:6 (NKJV) “For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
Merry Christmas! As we reflect on this Christmas season and what God has done for us, we continue to be amazed! Sometimes in the craziness of the season it is easy to forget the true reason for the season. But God, continues to be faithful and remind us of His gift to us through the birth of His Son. We know that you have been praying for us! Many have been generous with their time and resources to help us on our way and while living in Montana. On our way to Montana we witnessed an accident right in front of us while driving through Chicago. Thankfully, Brian maintained control of the truck and trailer and we didn’t become part of it. In the midst of the truck breaking down twice, God provided “ideal” locations and generous giving to cover the costs of the repairs. It was such a blessing to arrive at the build site in the dark and see the flashlights of the other builder families who were excited to see us. Your Christmas gifts have allowed us to buy new winter tires for the van and to travel back and see family. The blessings are too many to recount, but know that God continues to provide for us!
We have made good progress on the building. Multiple people from the church as well as two different groups came and helped with the building. The building is dried in and shingled and we have started insulating the roof deck with spray foam.
We are continuing to settle in. Life in a fifth wheel trailer has been an adjustment but we are doing well. We have finished our winter preparation and the trailer is staying warm. While in Montana we have been able to take some time and enjoy God’s creation while fishing, exploring, and hiking. The mule deer, whitetail deer, bighorn sheep, and elk have been a lot of fun to watch. The last month we have had a herd of up to 200 head of elk within a mile of the trailer.
Our family is expanding! Both Luke & Amanda are engaged and are planning on getting married in 2025. Luke has moved to North Carolina to be near his fiancé. Once again God is directing the paths of our family! It’s a joy to watch these relationships grow. Brenda and I finished our reading the Bible in a year plan. If you would like to join us for 2025 let us know.
Once again thank you for your prayers and your support of our ministry! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Fulfilling the great commission together,
Brian, Brenda, Amanda, Luke, Nathanael and Rebekah
