“He is your praise, and He is your God, who has done for you these great and awesome things which your eyes have seen.” Deuteronomy 10:21

In Deuteronomy, Moses was reminding the Israelites of the “great and awesome things” that God had done for them. Earlier in the year, we had looked at the month of April with some discouragement because we did not have much scheduled. However, God does “great and awesome things,” and our month was filled. Not necessarily how we had thought it would be filled but filled according to God’s plan.

This month Brian was able to attend both the Illinois-Missouri (IL-MO) Regular Baptist Conference and the Iowa Regular Baptist Conference. At both of these conferences, Brian was able to make some good contacts and meet some new people. While at the IL-MO conference Brian was invited to come and help work on the new zip line at Camp Manatoumi in Illinois. Luke and he were able to go and spend a Saturday helping build stairs up against a steep hillside. That same weekend Brenda and Amanda went to the Mother-Daughter Retreat at the Iowa Regular Baptist Camp. Nathanael and Rebekah spent the weekend with a family from our church. Brian’s brother-in-law Jason was able to get an appointment at Mayo in Rochester, MN. While he was there we spent a couple of days visiting him and Brian’s sister. Brenda then shared the CBM building ministry with a group of 4th-6th graders at the Pella Homeschool Coop.

We also had many opportunities for celebration this month. We celebrated Easter with friends and family in Iowa City. Our sending church, Faith Baptist Church, celebrated their 50th anniversary. It was fun to fellowship with past and present members. Last, but not least, we celebrated Nathanael’s 7th birthday with a German Chocolate Cheesecake.

We are praising God for a new individual supporter this month. Thank you for reading our newsletter and supporting us with your encouragement, prayers, and giving!

Fulfilling the great commission together,

Brian, Brenda, Amanda, Luke, Nathanael and Rebekah Krueger
