“Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you have increased and possess the land.” Exodus 23:30 (ESV)
In Exodus God told the Israelites to trust Him and He would clear the way for them little by little. For us, it has been a month of “little by little’s”. We continue to remind ourselves that it is God’s plan and timing and not our own.
February 8-9 was the statewide Mid-Winter Couples Retreat. We enjoyed spending time together as a couple as well as meeting some new people. We were also able to fellowship with other CBM missionaries on deputation. It was an enjoyable evening of sharing each other’s “little by little’s”.
Our youth group is preparing for Talents For Christ. Brenda accompanies the youth choir. TFC is designed to challenge and encourage young people to use their talents for God’s glory.
We decided to build a Lego church to add to our display table. I ordered the pieces, Brenda sorted the pieces and the kids built the church. There were 619 steps to follow and 1889 pieces to put together. Little by little the Lego church was built. It was enjoyable watching the excitement build in the kids as the church neared completion.
Little by little, we have begun the process of contacting churches. We were able to secure one meeting and several pastors asked for more information and we will be contacting them again.
